With the invention of the telescope around 1600, the distant worlds moved a little closer and new insights were quickly gained. "And yet it turns", Galileo said, and at the same time placed the sun at the centre of our planetary system. Astrology became astronomy. The telescope allowed us to see the beginning of infinity a little better and this idea has fascinated us for centuries. The exploration of space began slowly, but it was to take another three hundred years before man came physically closer to the stars. By looking through the telescope, people researched and dreamed about the stars and other worlds at the same time.

The telescope seems to be complete and in worthy condition.
