Lot 1172 - W241AS Asian Art: Himalaya, China - Tuesday, 06. May 2014, 03.00 PM

WUCAI DRAGON AND PHOENIX BOWL.China, Qianlong mark and of the period, D 15 cm. Exterior shows red and green dragons, both five-clawed, on a ground of flowers and scrolls. Between them are two phoenixes. In the well a dragon is depicted frontally among clouds. Underglaze blue Qianlong seal mark in the foot. Break with glue repair and two short hairline cracks.

Aussenwand mit einem roten und einem grünen Drachen auf Blumenrankengrund, beide fünfklauig. Zwischen ihnen befinden sich zwei Phönixe. Im Spiegel ein frontal gezeichneter Drache zwischen Wolken. Unterglasurblaue Qianlong-Siegelmarke im Fuss. Geklebter Ausbruch und zwei kurze Haarrisse.
