PAINTING WITH CLOCK WITH AUTOMATON,probably France or Suisse romande, end of the 19th century. Sheet metal, cardboard and other materials, painted. Depiction of a railway bridge over a river in a wide landscape. At the one end of the bridge: a sculptured city. Small movement with replaced, modern music box. Automated movement for the mill, the signalling and the train crossing the bridge. Gilt frame and later illumination. 70x104 cm. Requires restoration and revision.

wohl Frankreich oder Westschweiz, Ende 19. Jh.
Blech, Karton und andere Materialien gefasst. Darstellung einer Eisenbahnbrücke über einen Fluss in weiter Landschaft. Am Brückenende eine plastisch gearbeitete Stadt. Kleines Uhrwerk mit ersetzter moderner Walzenspieldose. Automat auf Mühlerad, Signalanlage sowie Zug, der die Brücke überquert. Vergoldeter Rahmen und spätere Beleuchtung. 70x104 cm. Zu restaurieren und revidieren.
