A SMALL TEAPOT WITH ANIMAL SPOUT,
Ansbach, c. 1765.
The spout modelled as the head of a lion, the rocaille handle heightened in gold. Both sides painted with light blue, black contoured landscape vignettes in gold leaf cartouches. Without mark. H 7.5 cm. Metal lid associated. Spout with small chips.
