CABINET, INLAID WITH IVORY

Historicism, probably Holland, 19th century.
Wood, ebonized and inlaid with engraved ivory featuring tendrils and grotesque figures in rectangular reserves and fillets. Rectangular body on flattened feet. Front, framed by fruit- and leaf frieze, and with nine, slightly recessed drawers arranged around a door. The door, inlaid with a figure of Cupid and two busts of angels on the top, opens up into three further drawers. Pierced brass corner reinforcements and lateral carrying handles. 1 key.
62 x 33 x 49 cm.
