PAINTED SUITE OF FURNITURE,

Louis XVI, signed A.P. DUPAIN (Adrien Pierre Dupain, maître 1772), guild stamp, Paris, ca. 1775/80.
Comprising: 1 three–seater canapé "corbeille", 1 pair of bergères, 4 fauteuils "en cabriolet" and 1 pair of fireplace screens. Fluted beech, exquisitely carved with rosettes and decorative frieze, and painted light beige. Yellow gold silk damask cover decorated with bouquets of flowers and bows. The canapé and the bergères with cushions. Paint restored. Canapé 180x60x48x100 cm. Bergères 66x50x48x98 cm. Fauteuils 58x48x44x91 cm. Fireplace screens 54x90 cm.
