MANTEL SET,

Louis XVI style, Paris ca. 1870.
Matte and polished gilt bronze and white marble. Comprising: Vase-shaped clock "aux cercles tournants" and pair of candelabras. The clock is designed as a lidded vase and features chapter rings with white enamel cartouches for the minutes and the hours. Spring-wound movement. The candelabras are likewise designed as a vase. The top holds 1 candle (originally held several candles). Clock and candelabras, possibly associated.
Clock: 45x29x62 cm. Candelabras: H 45 cm.
