"SWAN SERVICE", TUREEN WITH FIGURE,

Meissen, after a model by J. J. Kändler and J. F. Eberlin from 1738, later casting of the 20th century.
Modell 05028. Ovale Form, richly modelled with lateral putti as handles and applied with shells, supported on four scrolling feet with masks, the cover modelled with the figures Acis and Galatea. The centre of the tureen with the Brühl-Kolowrat-Krakowsky alliance coat of arms.
L 36 cm. Slightly chipped.
