Jules-Ange-Ladislas Le Jeune was a professor at the Free University of Brussels, a lawyer at the Court of Cassation and later became Minister of Justice. He belonged to the Catholic Party, was also a senator, and at the end of his life was appointed Minister of State. He is best known for the numerous reforms he implemented during his tenure as Minister of Justice from 1887 to 1892.
