PAIR OF PLATES WITH ORIENTALS, Zürich, circa 1775-80. Lobed shape, each painted with an oriental in a landscape vignette, the first with an 'Indian', the second with a oriental lady wrapped in a robe in a similar landscape scene, gilt border, Z mark in underglaze-blue, K and I impressed to one plate, IN incised to other plate, 24cm. Provenance: Private collection, Zürich.
