Leider ist über diesen Künstler bislang nur bekannt, dass er 1649 als Schüler von Andries Benedetti (Antwerpen 1636 - nach 1648) vermerkt ist (vgl. A Dictionary of Dutch and Flemish Still-life Painters Working in Oils, 1525 - 1725), Appendix C, S. 228 und S. 35).
