LANTERN CLOCK,Baroque, probably Germany or Holland, 17th/18th century. Rectangular, open iron case with pierced tendrils and bell on top, on spherical feet. Brass dial. Iron movement with brass cogwheels, verge escapement with short rear pendulum (probably later conversion), striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Repetition on demand. H 32 cm.
