Reverse glass painting with a depiction of the Lamentation of Christ. Signed A.B.V.E. in the center left. In a gilt wooden frame. Verso with label indicating place and date of purchase: "Büel, Antiquar Luzern, 30.4.1953".

After a painting by an unknown Flemish master, “Lamentation autour du Christ”, late 16th century, at the Hôpital Notre-Dame à la Rose, Lessines, Belgium.
