Regence, France, ca. 1720. Movement and dial, signed TIEFFÉ À PARIS.
Curved case, applied with beige horn. Bronze mounts designed as shells, scrolls, espagnolettes, etc. Dial with white enamel cartouches. Alarm disk. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 3/4-hour on 2 bells, on demand. Alarm on bell.
30x16x76 cm.
