PEDESTAL DESIGNED AS A PILASTER

Renaissance, Italy, probably 16th century.
White marble, carved on three sides. Rectangular with a slightly protruding plinth.
39 × 31 × 65 cm.

Provenance:
- Costa-Rossi Collection.
- Koller Auctions Zurich, March 2015, Auction Château de Martheray, Lot No. 2627.
- Suisse-romande private collection, acquired at the above-mentioned auction.

One corner of the plinth restored. Slight chips. Traces of paintwork.
