CARAFE WITH SILVER-GILT MOUNT
Paris, ca. 1860. Maker's mark Charles-Nicolas Odiot.
The foot, spout, handle, and lid are made of gilt silver, while the heavily convex body is made of cut glass. The decoration consists of twisted tongues, curved volutes, and plant motifs.
