BRACKET CLOCK WITH PLINTH,England, 2nd half of the 18th century. The movement and dial signed ELLICOTT LONDON (John Ellicott 1706-1772). Ebony inlaid with brass fillets. Rectangular case with retracted top and handle. White enamel dial. Movement with verge escapement, striking the hour on bell. Engraved plate. Endless pinion winding. Plinth, not original. 30x19x67 cm.

England, 2. Hälfte 18. Jh. Das Werk und Zifferblatt signiert ELLICOTT LONDON (John Ellicott 1706-1772).
Ebenholz mit Messingfilets. Rechteckiges Gehäuse mit eingezogenem Dach und Traghenkel. Weisses Emailzifferblatt. Werk mit Spindelgang und Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Gravierte Werkplatine, Aufzug über Schneckenräder. Späterer Sockel. 30x19x67 cm.
