SANDERSON POCKET WATCH WITH OUTER CASE, ca. 1760.

Gelbgold.
Yellow gold.
Opulently engraved outer case engraved in repousse technique, depicting a mythological scene. Smooth inner case (pendant later) with key winder on the back. Gold dial with Roman numerals, gold hands. Pin lever escapement with engraved skeleton bridge with diamond cap stone, signed: Geo. Sanderson Exon, silver regulator scale, fusee and chain. Outer case D 48 mm.
