LARGE BOULLE CLOCK WITH BASE,

Regence, Paris, 18th century. The dial later signed JULIEN LE ROY À PARIS.
Wooden case, applied with brass, tortoiseshell and tinted horn in Contre-Boulle manner. Opulent bronze mounts. Bronze dial with white enamel cartouches. Movement with verge escapement, striking the 1/4-hour on 3 bells. Case, requires some restoration.
H 147 cm.
