ARMORIAL PANEL GILGENBERG, WITH AN ALLEGORY OF THE FOUR SEASONS

Probably Solothurn, dated 1626.
Central coat of arms, opulently decorated with a decorative helmet within a wreath of flowers and fruit. The corners feature allegorical figures of the Four Seasons. The bottom features a cartouche inscribed: Hanns Ludwig Gilgenberg Anno 1626.
32 × 24.5 cm.

Cracks and repairs to the lead.
