GAMES TABLE,Louis XV, West Switzerland, 18th century. Walnut, plum, pearwood and other local fruitwoods in veneer with inlays. Hinged top lined inside with green felt, on an expandable frame. 78x40x(open 80)x75 cm. Provenance: from a highly important Swiss private collection.

Nussbaum, Zwetschge, Birne und andere heimische Fruchthölzer gefriest sowie mit Schachspiel, Filets und Zierfries eingelegt. Rechteckiges, aufklappbares und innen mit grünem Filz bezogenes Blatt mit abgerundete Ecken auf gerader, ausziehbarer Zarge mit hohen, geschweiften Beinen. 78x40x(offen 80)x75 cm.
