LARGE "PIETRA DURA" PANEL,
Renaissance style, after a Roman design from the late 16th century, probably Rome.
Lapis lazuli, jasper, amethyst and various types of marble, exquisitely inlaid with oval medallions, rosettes, geometric patterns and decorative frieze. Rectangular.
240x120x6 cm.
