TWO-PIECE CUTLERY SET WITH KNIFE AND FORK
1st half of the 17th century.
Octagonal handle, the longitudinal facets with mosaic-like, in part marbled, inlays in stone and mother-of-pearl. Faceted baluster-shaped handle cap in coral with a knob end. Baluster-shaped blade bolster, faceted and gilt. Blade with center tip, with smith's mark. Fork tip with two tines, the conical neck and bolster gilt.
L knife 16.5 cm, fork 14.5 cm.
Half of the coral pommel on the knife missing. Various losses, chips and cracks to the handles. Gilding rubbed.
