TABLE WITH CARTONNIER,late Louis XV, stamped L. CUENIERES EBENISTE (known as Cuenières Jeune, active from 1870), Paris, end of the 19th century. Purpleheart and rosewood veneer. With narrow sliding ledge at the front, lined in brown leather, and 1 drawer each side. The upper section with 6 drawers, lined with brown leather. With fine matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. 80x45x137 cm. Provenance: from a Swiss collection.

Veilchenholz und Palisander gefriest. Rechteckiges Blatt mit abgerundeten Ecken auf bogenförmig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit hohen, leicht geschweiften Beinen. Front mit schmalem Auszugstablar, mit braunem Leder bezogen, seitlich je 1 Schublade. Aufsatz mit 6 Schubladen auf 2 Reihen, mit braunem, goldgepresstem Leder bezogen und eingezogenem Kranz. Feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen. 80x45x137 cm.
