EMERALD, DIAMOND AND RUBY BROOCH, 19th century
Base yellow gold 750, settings fine silver, 24g.
Of floral design, set with 1 octagonal emerald of ca. 6.1 x 8.1 mm and 1 rose-cut diamond of ca. 6.7 mm Ø, decorated with 34 rose-cut diamonds in various shapes and a ribbon motif decorated with small faceted rubies. All stones, except the rubies, in closed-back settings. L ca. 7.5 cm.
Conditionreport:
In good condition for its age. Silver and gold oxidised. Diamonds and emerald partially with signs of wear. CHF 1 200 / 1 800 | (€ 1 240 / 1 860)
