As Prussian envoy to the German Confederation, to Countess von Keyserling:
"I would deliver my reply to you in person, most gracious Countess, were I not still occupied with business for a few more hours; in any case, I shall try to pay my respects to you afterwards. Mr. von Behr departed from here fourteen days ago yesterday, heading toward Switzerland, and intended to travel via Munich to reach Berlin in about fourteen days." - The envelope of the letter, with von Bismarck's wax seal, is also included.
