FIBULA
Probably Merovingian, ca. 6th/7th century AD.
Engraved silver(?). Semicircular head plate with five protruding knobs, the foot with three curved protrusions on each side and a knob-like end with two eyes. Verso with two eyelet-like fastenings.
7 × 3.9 cm.
Provenance:
- Swiss private collection, Lucerne, acquired from the above ca. 1974.
- By inheritance in the same Swiss family, Lucerne.
