Diese Ikone, die im russischen Uralvorland entstanden ist, zeigt die sehr slten anzutreffende Darstellung des hl. Hieromärtyrers Ignatius. Sie besticht insbesondere durch das kühne, progessive Kolorit.
Conditionreport:
Oil-tempera mixed media on canvas laid on panel. Panel minimally warped, verso with two horizontal cross battens inset into the panel. A small hairline crack of approximately 5 cm in the lower centre. Paint surface with fine craquelure and light superficial abrasion in places. Minor retouched losses visible. Light abrasion and small indentations to the panel along the edges, as well as a loss at the lower right edge. <br>Under UV light: minor retouching visible. Varnish fluoresces unevenly greenish. <br>Overall good condition. <br>Unframed. CHF 700 / 1 000 | (€ 720 / 1 030)
