WALKING-STICK HANDLE IN THE FORM OF A TURK’S HEAD
Fürstenberg, circa 1770–95.
Porcelain decorated in enamels. Modelled as a sea creature with a fish tail and a male head wearing an Oriental turban and the collar of a traditional costume. Blue manufactory mark on the unglazed interior.
L 10 cm, H 7 cm.
Provenance:
- Acquired by inheritance in 1972 and added to the Peter Ducret Collection, Kilchberg.
