RARE EMPIRE CUP AND SAUCER, Paris, Chanou, Rue de Reuilly, circa 1784-85. The front of the cup painted with a group of musicians. Each piece with a continuous seascape with ships and harbour. Gilt interior. The saucer with gilt rosette motif in centre. Mark Ch in gold. Provenance: private collection, Zürich.
