CHRIST RESURRECTED APPEARS BEFORE MARY,Limoges, mid 16th century. Monogrammed verso CN (Colin Nouailher). Painted enamel "en grisaille" with additional gold. 16.5x12.5 cm. Varnished. Set in a carved gilt Baroque frame.

Limoges, Mitte 16. Jh.
Verso mgr. CN (Colin Nouailher). Maleremail "en grisaille" sowie Goldzeichnung. Der in einen Umhang gehüllte, von den Toten auferstandene Christus erscheint der überraschten Maria beim Lesen in ihrer Kammer. 16,5x12,5 cm. Gefirnist. In geschnitztem und vergoldetem Barock-Rahmen.
