IMPORTANT CONSOLE "AUX TETES DE ROMAINS",Louis XIV, after drawings by D. MAROT (Daniel Marot, 1663-1752), The Netherlands circa 1680/1700. Pierced and exceptionally finely carved gilt oak. "Breche" top. The frame can be dismantled. Restorations to the gilding and patina. 140x60x88 cm.

Eiche durchbrochen und ausserordentlich fein beschnitzt mit Römerbüsten, Rosetten, Voluten, Kartuschen und Zierfries sowie vergoldet. Trapezförmige, mehrfach profilierte "Brèche"-Platte auf durchbrochener Zarge mit durch bewegten Kreuzsteg verbundenen Volutenstützen auf blätterbeschmückten Kugelfüssen. Das Gestell zerlegbar. Restaurationen an der Vergoldung und Patina. 140x60x88 cm.
