A HOLLAND CIRCLE, France, 18th c. Sign. CHOIZY A PARIS. Engraved brass and with 2 openwork dolphins. Base with central compass, windrose and directions (needle lost) and 2 sights. Rotating alidade with another 2 sights. Ball-and-socket joint. D 12 cm.

Messing mit eingraviertem Blattdekor sowie 2 ausgeschnittenen Delfinen. Durchbrochener Kreis mit Gradeinteilung, mittig Kompass mit Windrose und Himmelsrichtungen (Kompassnadel fehlt). Der Kreis seitlich mit 2 Absehen; drehbare Alhidade mit 2 weiteren Dioptern montiert an Kompassbüchse. Kugelgelenk, mit Stativaufsatz. D 12 cm.
