A HOLLAND CIRCLE, France, 18th c. Engraved brass. The base with central compass, wind rose and directions, 2 sights. Rotating alidade with another 2 sights. Ball-and-socket joint on wooden plinth. D ca. 11 cm.

Messing. Durchbrochener Kreis mit Gradeinteilung, mittig Kompass mit eingravierter Windrose und Himmelsrichtungen. Der Kreis seitlich mit 2 Absehen versehen sowie mit drehbarer Alhidade mit 2 weiteren Absehen montiert an Kompassbüchse. Kugelgelenk, mit Stativaufsatz auf Holzsockel. D ca. 11 cm.
