A BÖTTGER PORCELAIN TEAPOT

Meissen, c. 1713. Relief applications by Johann Jacob Irminger (1633-1724).
Of globular, slightly squatted form, with a loop handle, straight spout, borders of curled acanthus leaves in relief at the footrim and rim, and a row of acanthus leaves on the slightly domed cover. Without mark.
H 12.5 cm.
