LACQUER CHEST OF DRAWERS, Louis XV, Paris circa 1760. Wood lacquered on all sides in "goût chinois"; with colourful pagoda and park figural scenes on black ground. The centrally bombé front with 2 sans traverse drawers, gilt bronze mounts and sabots and richly shaped "Rouge Royal top. Requires some restoration. 99x51x91 cm. Provenance: from a very important private collection, Switzerland.
