QUEEN ANNE TALL BOY, England circa 1720. Burlwood and local fruitwoods in veneer inlaid with reserves and fillets. The chest with shaped cornice, shaped legs and ball and claw feet. The lower section with 3 drawers, the upper section with 5 drawers of different size, the upper drawer being divided into three. With fine engraved bronze mounts and hangers. 113x62x172 cm. Provenance: from a collection in West Switzerland

Wurzelmaser und heimische Fruchthölzer gefriest sowie mit Reserven und Filets eingelegt. Prismierter Korpus mit vorstehendem, profiliertem Kranz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen auf Ball- und Klauenfüssen. Unterteil mit 3 nebeneinander liegenden Schubladen, die mittlere kleiner. Aufsatz mit 5 ungleich grossen Schubladen, die oberste dreigeteilt. Feine, gravierte Bronzebeschläge und -hänger. 113x62x172 cm.
