CRATER VASE,central Italy, probably 3/2 century BC. Fired clay. The sides painted with figural scenes and foliate decoration. Repaired and restored. H 49 cm. Provenance: from an important German private collection.

Mittelitalien, wohl 3./2. Jh. v. Chr.
Gebrannter Ton. Kugeliger Gefässkörper mit ausladender Lippe und markanten Henkeln auf profiliertem Rundfuss. Die Seiten bemalt mit Figurenstaffage und Blättermotiven. Reparaturen und Ergänzungen. H 49 cm.
