COMMODE "EN TOMBEAU",Louis XV, stamped MONDON (Francois Mondon, maitre circa 1730), Paris circa 1740. Rosewood and purpleheart in veneer, inlaid with diamond pattern and decorative frieze. Front with 3 drawers, the top drawer divided into 2. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Shaped "Griotte Rouge" top. 128x60x88 cm.

Palisander und Veilchenholz gefriest sowie mit Diamantspitzen und Zierfries eingelegt. Geschweifter, rechteckiger Sitz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. In der Mitte gebauchte Front mit 3 Schubladen, die oberste zweigeteilt. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Profilierte "Griotte Rouge"-Platte. 128x60x88 cm.
