SAINT GEORGE AND THE DRAGON,Gothic, Alpine region, probably Tyrol circa 1480/1500. Carved and painted wood, hollowed verso. The lance and hand later, the paint brittle. H 92 cm.

gotisch, alpenländisch, wohl Tirol um 1480/1500.
Holz geschnitzt, verso gehöhlt sowie gefasst. Der Heilige mit Lanze in Rüstung, zu seinen Füssen der Drache. Lanze und Hand später, Fassung brüchig. H 92 cm.
