ENAMEL SNUFF BOX, Geneva, ca. 1860. Pink gold. Decorative oval box with polychrome enamelled view from the Bellevue of Lake Geneva with a steamboat, and mountain ranges in the background. The base with a fine bouquet of flowers on a translucent pink background. The borders with opaque light blue enamel and gold foliage as well as oval cartouches in pastel green with trophies. The walls enamelled in light blue and pastel green with gold tendril decorations, the compartments with polychrome flowers. Enamel slightly chipped. Ca. 8.5 x 5.3 x 1.8 cm.

Dekorative, passig geschweifte ovale Dose mit polychrom emaillierter Ansicht vom Bellevue aus: Genfersee mit Dampfschiff, im Hintergrund Gebirgszüge. Der Boden mit feinem Blumenbouquet auf transluzidem rosarotem Hintergrund. Bordüren mit opakem hellblauem Email und Goldblättern sowie ovalen Kartuschen in lindgrün mit Trophäen. Wandung emailliert in hellblau und lindgrün mit goldenem Rankendekor, Reserven mit polychromen Blumen. Email minim bestossen. Ca. 8,5 x 5,3 x 1,8 cm.
