VIRGIN AND CHILD ON CRESCENT,northern France, probably Dieppe, late 16th century. Ivory carved full round. On a later plinth. H 15 cm.

Nordfrankreich, wohl Dieppe, spätes 16. Jh.
Elfenbein vollrund geschnitten. Maria stehend, das Kind im linken Arm haltend. Sie trägt ein in langen Falten fallendes Kleid. Auf späterem godroniertem Sockel. H 15 cm.
