Actaeon's transformation into a stag after discovering Diana while bathing, according to the tales of Ovid's Metamorphoses (III, 138-255). Verso inscribed in blue 'Diana mucta ateon in ceruo'. D 26.5 cm. Old restorations and color retouched in parts, traces of firing faults verso.
