SIDEBOARD WITH BOULLE MARQUETRY "AUX BUSTES DE SATYRES",Regence style, attributed to G. GROHE (Guillaume Grohe, 1808-1885), Paris, late 19th century. Ebony finely inlaid with brass in "premiere partie". The front with central door, flanked on each side by1 caryatid and 1 door. Exceptionally fine, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. Black marble top.150x57x115 cm. Provenance: - From a European private collection. - Koller Zurich auction, 23.6.2011 (Lot No. 1273). - Private collection, USA.

Ebenholz profiliert und fein eingelegt mit Messing in "première partie"; Blumen, Blätter und Zierfries. Rechteckiger Korpus mit vorstehendem Blatt auf Bastionssockel. Architektonisch gegliederte Front mit Zentraltüre, seitlich je 1 Karyatide und 1 Tür. Ausserordentlich feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen. Schwarze Marmorplatte. 150x57x115 cm.
