BUREAU PLAT, Louis XV, stamped J.C. ELLAUME (Jean-Charles Ellaume, maitre 1754), Paris circa 1750. Tulipwood and rosewood in veneer, inlaid with broad fillets. The rectangular top lined with gold-stamped, brown leather and edged in brass. The front with 3 adjacent drawers. Same, but sham arrangement verso. Rich, gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Some restoration required to the veneer. Some supplements. 160x81x78 cm.
