BUREAU PLAT, Louis XV, stamped J.C. ELLAUME (Jean-Charles Ellaume, maitre 1754), Paris circa 1750. Tulipwood and rosewood in veneer, inlaid with broad fillets. The rectangular top lined with gold-stamped, brown leather and edged in brass. The front with 3 adjacent drawers. Same, but sham arrangement verso. Rich, gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Some restoration required to the veneer. Some supplements. 160x81x78 cm. Provenance: - German aristocratic collection. - Koller Zurich auction, 14.11.1991 (Lot No. 1046). - From a German collection. - Koller Zurich auction, 27.3.2003 (Lot No. 1124). - From a Roman collection.

Rosenholz und Palisander gefriest sowie mit breiten Filets eingelegt. Rechteckiges, mit braunem, goldgepresstem Leder bezogenes und in profilierten Messingstab gefasstes Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge in "contour à l'arbalète" mit hohen, geschweiften Beinen. Front mit 3 nebeneinander liegenden Schubladen. Gleiche, jedoch blinde Einteilung auf der Rückseite. Reiche, vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Furnier etwas zu restaurieren. Ergänzungen. 160x81x78 cm.
