COTEAU (Joseph Coteau, Geneva 1740-1801 Paris), Paris circa 1795/97. Red Sevres porcelain with matte and polished gilt bronze. Exceptionally finely painted enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes and month days.3 hands, partly finely pierced and gilt. Visible, skeleton anchor escapement with pinwheel movement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. Exceptionally rich bronze mounts and applications. 25x15x61 cm.
