SMALL BUREAU PLAT,Louis XV, Potsdam circa 1750. Rosewood in veneer. The top lined with gold-stamped, black leather and edged in brass. The front with 3 adjacent drawers. Same, but sham arrangement verso. 1 lateral drawer on each side. Exceptionally fine, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications, as well as brass trim. 107x70x79 cm. Provenance: from a German private collection, acquired in Maastricht in 2002.

Palisander gefriest. Geschweiftes, rechteckiges, vorstehendes, mit schwarzem, goldgeprägtem Leder bezogenes und in Messingstab gefasstes Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge in "contour à l'arbalète" mit markant geschweiften Beinen. Front mit 3 nebeneinander liegenden Schubladen. Auf der Rückseite gleiche, jedoch blinde Einteilung. Seitlich jeweils 1 Schublade. Ausserordentlich feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen sowie Messingzierleisten. 107x70x79 cm.
