PORTAL CLOCK,Louis XVI, France, late 18th century. White marble and gilt bronze. Bronze applications in the form of flowering branches, drapery and decorative frieze (incomplete). White enamel dial (chipped). Paris escapement inscribed FRF 369 with 1/2 hour striking on bell. H 45 cm. Back feet replaced, some restoration required.

Weisser Marmor und Bronze vergoldet. Das zylindrischeWerkgehäuse mit Vasenaufsatz, getragen von 2 konischen Säulen auf seitlich gerundetem Rechtecksockel und Kreiselfüssen. Bronzeapplizierungen in Form von Blütenzweigen, Draperie und Zierfriesen (unvollständig). Weisses Emailzifferblatt (bestossen). Pariserwerk bez. FRF 369 mit Halbstundenschlag auf Glocke. H 45 cm. Hintere Füsse ersetzt, etwas zu überholen.
