TEAPOT WITH GOLD CHINESE FIGURES,Meissen, circa 1725. The painting from the Augsburg workshop of Bartholomaeus Seuter (1678-1754, from 1726 Augsburg council authorization to fire gold and silver on porcelain). Remains of a luster mark OJ (?). H 11 cm. The gilding somewhat rubbed in parts. Provenance: - Former E.L. Paget Collection. - Private collection, Zurich.

Die Bemalung aus der Augsburger Werkstatt von Bartholomäus Seuter (1678-1754, seit 1726 Bewilligung des Augsburger Rates, Gold und Silber auf Porzellan zu brennen). Gedrückte kugelige Form mit Volutenhenkel und Vogelkopfausguss, ausgehend von einem Akanthusblatt. Bemalt mit zwei ovalen Goldschnörkelkartuschen mit Konsolchinesen und vereinzelten Konsolchinesen unter Goldschnörkelbordüren am Rand. Reste einer Lüstermarke OJ (?). H 11 cm. Vergoldung zum Teil etwas berieben.
