AN IVORY OKIMONO OF A STANDING GODDESS. Japan, Meiji period, height 29.5 cm. Signed. Base crack.

Japan, Meiji-Periode, H 29,5 cm.
Elfenbein mit winzigen Details in Perlmutt. Die Göttin mit reichem Körper- und Kopfschmuck steht auf einem doppelten Lotossockel. In der Linken hält sie eine Lotosblume, mit der Rechten einen ihrer wehenden Schals fest. Die Göttin Seiobo erscheint in der Krone. Sprung am Sockel. Signiert.
